Enjoy this image capturing a small school of Palometas admiring what appears to be a Loggerhead turtle in an ecstatic state in shallow water. Limited edition of splendid Loggerhead turtle (Caretta caretta) photographed July 2016 on island of Bonaire together with Palometas. Serenity of image alerts us to importance of preserving sea creatures. Most likely it was on the bottom seeking some shellfish to dine on. This turtle is known to have a particularly strong jaw. Turtles are of no threat to people, but humans have become a big threat to turtles in particular at their nesting grounds.
