Seems fitting to feature the French Angelfish on 14 July as France celebrates “Bastille Day”. French Angelfish wont be seen on the coast of Mediterranean but frequently may be observed snorkeling or SCUBA diving Caribbean islands including French territories such as Guadeloupe, Martinique and St. Martin. This mature angelfish was seen on the Dutch island of Bonaire. It is worthy to note and celebrate the Frenchman, Jaques Yves Cousteau who contributed to technologies still used in underwater photography and self contained underwater breathing apparatus -SCUBA. Vive la France!
